Logotech 4 Good April Announcement

Our March Logotech 4 Good recipient, the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) Rare Action Network, recently received the products they chose. The organization hopes the phone rings they picked – branded with the organization logo – won’t just bring more attention for NORD but to the families, patients and rare diseases that are often overlooked.

“We decided on the rings because they are something people would use on a day to day basis and keep us on their minds,” said Kristen Angell, associate director of advocacy.

The devices are also new to Logotech, part of our recently-expanded product lines.

Mobile rings act as a stand and a grip for mobile devices. And as most Americans are checking their phones several times each day, the logo will likely be seen thousands of times each day across the country.

In the next few weeks, the organization plans to send packages to the 30 state ambassadors it coordinates with to help spread their message, Angell said.

“This will help us in getting our name out there. We don’t do national advertising – we are a very grassroots organization – and this helps us in getting our name out in the community as a resource for rare disease patients,” she said.

National center for missing and exploited children - Logotech 4 Good

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children Texas Regional Office is the next organization to receive our Logotech-4-Good program donation.

“An important part of our mission is providing training and resources to law enforcement personnel and child welfare professionals who investigate crimes committed against children, specifically cases of child sexual exploitation,” the organization wrote in its application.

NCMEC has also been our client in the past, purchasing custom USB flash drives to help train law enforcement and other professionals who investigate crimes against children.

As April is Child Abuse Prevention Month – the donation seemed an appropriate time to help continue the message of keeping children safe.
